My name is Kimberly Phumzile Nyathi, in 2015 I spent the whole year not attending school because of financial struggles at home.
The AL Foundation started paying for my tuition fees and basic needs in 2017 when I was doing my grade 10. I did my matric in 2019 and the AL Foundation paid for my matric farewell, I went to the farewell looking like a dream and by the end of the year, I passed my matric with 5 distinctions.
I am currently studying towards LLB degree with the University of Johannesburg with the help of the AL Foundation, they are paying for my tuition fees and accommodation. I thank the AL Foundation for the opportunity they have given to me because my life has changed for good. My life goal is to support children in need with educational opportunities because I have been in a similar position and I know how education can change a person’s life for better.
